Worker's Compensation Board (WCB)

WCB is specific to Alberta, and is a statutory corporation that administers a system of workplace insurance for employers. WCB compensates injured workers for lost income, health care, and other costs related to a work-related injury.  

In the industry of domestic workers, registration is 100% optional; therefore, employers aren’t required to register.
